The Music Festival 2016, on its fifth day will bring three highly dynamic and popular bands to perform together - Skrat, Lagori and Wolf#39;s Lair. Skrat is a three-piece alternative rock band from Chennai, formed in 2006. An energetic and fun band performing a bit of Indie and alternative rock music, Skrat consists of Sriram T.T. (vocals, guitars), Jhanu Chanthar (bass) and Tapass Naresh (drums, vocals).
Lagori is a Bangalore based band which combines Indian classical melodies and inflections with Rock music, resulting in an interesting mix that is high on energy, while being catchy and soulful at the same time. The members are Edward Rasquinha - Acoustic guitar, Geeth Vaz - Electric guitar, Tejas Shankar - Vocals, Vinyl Kumar - Drums and Shalini Mohan - Bass.
Wolf#39;s Lair is the only heavy metal band to be performing in this year#39;s festival. Formed in 2010, the Chennai based band has released two albums and are known for their powerful sound and a wave of pure-aggressive music. They are recognisable with their intensely powered grooves and smooth vocals. It has Mark Thomas on Lead Vocals, Pharez Mervyn on Guitars, Snehasish Koch on Guitars, Arun Daniel on Bass Guitars, Vivin Kuruvilla on Keyboards and Manu Krishnan on Drums.
